| Simou is a traditional Cypriot village located above the Evretou Valley and the dam. It is twenty five minutes from Paphos and the Airport.
The village is far enough away from Paphos to have retained its rural charm. The local people are very welcoming and hospitable. This is very much a farming community, with citrus fruits being the main crops. The village has all the usual facilities, including a local shop, coffee shops, post office etc.
Close by is the Sabbuneri taverna, located on the side of the valley, with amazing views. It is run by Andreas and his wife Leni, it is very well known for its welcome and, of course, its excellent food. The famous Scarfos bridge, an ancient ruin is close by.
It is ten minutes into Polis, the local town, where you can enjoy the village square, collect a newspaper, have a coffee and watch the world go by. There are many supermarkets, for your weekly shopping, tavernas and restaurants by the score, along with many other shops dealing in clothes, furniture etc. A further few minutes away is the renowned seaside resort of Latchi, with its picturesque harbour and marina, beaches and many restaurants and tavernas.
The village’s elevation is quite high and consequently the surrounding views are terrific, particularly over the valley to Paphos forest. The location of our plots is 400 metres from the village, so you will have the privacy of large plots, close enough to the village not to be isolated, and the magnificent countryside all around.
The plots are adjacent to each other and have villas sympathetically designed for this rural location, all in natural stone with pine windows and doors.
