| Letympou is a small mountain village, ten minutes from Paphos and twenty minutes from Paphos Airport, and five minutes from the well known golf course at Tsada.
The village has a small supermarket, post office and coffee shop. The men of the village gather at the coffee shop in the early evening, they play backgammon and generally put the world to rights.
Letympou is famous for it’s grape production. There are a few wineries selling good quality wine, the most notable being at Statos. Go along for a tasting! Most of the villagers make their own wine, and of course zivania, the national drink of Cyprus.
The area is well known for it’s soft marble, which is highly regarded by sculptors. The marble is also used on a lot of the local properties.
The village will benefit from a “village centre renovation and enhancement plan”, which we understand, is in the early stages of development.
You may like to enjoy village life, and become a part of the community. Allow us to show you the village and the surrounding area.
We have two building plots, with clean title deeds, planning and building approvals. They are located on the outskirts of the village, within a five minute drive. They both are located on hilltops and command magnificent uninterrupted views. |
